How to Install WordPress in cPanel
WordPress is one of the most popular website platforms, and installing it through cPanel is quick and beginner-friendly thanks to Softaculous. Here’s a detailed guide to get your WordPress site up and running:
Step 1: Log In to cPanel
Access your cPanel account using your hosting credentials. The cPanel dashboard allows you to manage domains, emails, databases, and software installations.
Step 2: Open Softaculous
Scroll down to the Software/Services section and click the Softaculous icon. Softaculous is an automated installer that makes setting up WordPress fast and easy.
Step 3: Select WordPress
On the Softaculous page, find WordPress in the left sidebar and click it.
Step 4: Start a New Installation
Click New Installation. This will start the process to install WordPress on your chosen domain.
Step 5: Choose Your Domain
If your hosting plan supports multiple domains, select the one where you want WordPress installed. For single-domain plans, your domain will be selected by default.
Step 6: Set Admin Access
