As a responsible service provider, Hosting Nigeria maintains certain legal and ethical obligations regarding the use of its servers and equipment. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account found to be misused or in violation of these Terms.


2. Privacy Guarantee

3. Uptime Guarantee

Hosting Nigeria guarantees 99.95% uptime across all hosting services.

5. Payments and Renewals

6. Limitation of Liability

All services provided by Hosting Nigeria are offered “as is”, without any warranties—express or implied—regarding merchantability, fitness for a specific purpose, or non-infringement.

Hosting Nigeria does not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service

  • That our services will meet your specific needs

  • That downloaded data will be free from damage or loss

You acknowledge that Hosting Nigeria will not be liable for:

  • Service suspension or downtime

  • Business interruption

  • Data loss or corruption

  • Acts beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, network failures)

  • Unauthorized use of your account credentials

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

No waiver of any provision shall be valid unless in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Hosting Nigeria.


7. Refund Policy

Hosting Nigeria does not offer refunds for services rendered, including:

  • Domain registrations or transfers

  • Server provisioning

  • SSL installations

Refunds are only issued for:

  • Duplicate payments

  • Overpayments

  • Erroneous transactions with no active service attached


8. Account Activation

  • Web Hosting: Activated instantly

  • Temporary Hosting: Within 24 hours
  • VPS Servers: Activated within 2 hours

  • Dedicated Servers: Activated within 6 hours


9. Content and Prohibited Use

Customers agree to use our services only for lawful purposes. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Pornography or sexually explicit content

  • Child exploitation material

  • Hate speech, threats, or violence-inciting content

  • Defamatory or deceptive material

  • Copyrighted material without proper authorization

  • Promotion of illegal drugs, arms trafficking, or gambling

  • Hosting hacking tools, exploits, or warez

  • Running proxy scripts or background processes on shared servers

  • Bulk email (spam) activities

Hosting Nigeria may suspend or terminate any account found in violation, without refund.

Clients are responsible for keeping their scripts, plugins, and CMS installations secure and updated at all times. Strong passwords must be used.

Customers must also keep their contact email and billing information updated, as this is the primary channel for official communication.


10. Domain Registration and Transfer

Domains registered or transferred to Hosting Nigeria must remain with us for a minimum of 60 days before becoming eligible for transfer out.

If a domain transfer is requested before this period, an additional fee may apply. International domains will only be transferable after 60 days.


11. Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted via the client dashboard or by emailing support from your registered account.
Only official cancellation requests will be considered valid.


12. Anti-Spam Policy

Hosting Nigeria enforces a zero-tolerance policy against spam.
Accounts found sending spam will be immediately suspended. Repeated violations may result in permanent termination.

Bulk email is not permitted on shared hosting plans. Businesses requiring mass email services should contact us for a suitable plan.


13. Resource Usage

All hosting accounts must operate within the allocated CPU, memory, and disk space limits.
Excessive resource usage that affects server stability may result in temporary suspension until corrective action is taken.


14. Hosting Transfers

Hosting Nigeria provides courtesy website transfer services during the first 30 days of signup.
However, we do not guarantee the success or speed of a migration, as compatibility varies between hosting providers.


15. Backups

Clients are responsible for maintaining regular backups of their data.
While Hosting Nigeria may offer backup solutions, customers remain solely responsible for ensuring their data is safely stored.


16. User Content

“User Content” refers to any material uploaded or distributed through your hosting account or website.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that such content:

  • Does not violate any third-party rights

  • Is lawful and appropriate

Hosting Nigeria does not monitor user content but reserves the right to remove or suspend any content or account that violates these Terms.
